Howdy from Avon, Colorado!

We're snow ready.

I can't even believe how gorgeous it is out here. I've never been around this much snow before in my life. We were actually driving yesterday, and it was SNOWING REALLY HARD! Acck! It was beautiful and really scary at the same time. I feel like I'm in a movie set...

Taken from the car, but you get the picture.

So. Amazing. It's freakin' cold, but I'm getting used to it. And I'm getting to hang out with these two:

Teamies Drew and JoAnna!

Good times. There has already been much eating and drinking and being merry and tonight there will be sledding down a mountain at night. Yay!

Getting lots of knitting in too - I'm up to almost 10 inches on the body of Cathy's Tubey, and I'm starting a new Panta for JoAnna this afternoon. Panta is perfect for the frosty Colorado weather!

This entry is short and sweet because we're about to go do Colorado things. YAY YAY YAY!

OKAY - duh - I found the pattern - I just didn't follow instructions as to exactly what to Google! Thanks, Rob

ooo! HAVE FUN!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hi, hi! This is a little late, but I actually work for Lulu.com, and my knitting friend Gali just sent me a link today to your Dec 20th blog's mentioning of Lulu. Glad you enjoy the book! Here at Lulu, we call books made out of blogs "blooks." Heehee. I wanted to tell you that we've organized a contest for blooks called The Blooker Prize, and it's still not too late to enter (deadline:Jan 30, 2006)! Check out the site at www.lulublookerprize.com. Also, I can't find your book (blook:)) on Lulu. Is it available to the public? What is it called? Or, better yet, could you email me the link at lmoseley@lulu.com? Also, feel free to refer any of your knitblogging friends who want to publish on Lulu to me! Yay!

Love that Panta - and "sorta" love the snow - the pictures are gorgeous and I'm sure it's great fun to play in BUT I'm in countdown mode - as in 56 more days until March 1 [meteorological spring (sp???)] - I just hate cold weather HOWEVER I was blessed - had the whole week off between Christmas and New Years PAID - yeah it's good to work at a university!! - and we had unseasonably WARM weather!! yay

Panta pattern - okay maybe I'm braindead but I couldn't find the pattern - just references to it - thought I'd knit one up for a great niece living in UTAH!!

It's so much fun to live viCARiously through Carrie!!

I now has this twisted desire to sing "Panta, Panta, don't you wanna, wanna Panta." Please kill me now.

Snow....mountains...cold weather....I am so jealous. Have lots and lots of fun and stay warm! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Happy New Year! Hope you had fun on your trip!

Happy New Year! Have fun in CO! I enjoy reading about your life adventures! Look forward to more! Take care!

Carrie the Snow Bunny! Careful on that sledding hill, K?

Happy New Year!

happy new year carrie!

have a wonderful time!

We miss you. Hug the teamies. Then come home. ;-)

Welcome to the West!! I do hope your enjoying the snowy goodness. Gotta love that Panta, and your right, they are perfect for winter sports. I'm working on a wool one for skiing!

Oh! You look like you're having so much fun! One small issue though, you appear to be wearing only one (!) hand knit. This is totally unaceptable. Here's hoping 2006 can have some super fab knitting for you, in addition to great skiing and other sundry pleasures! Happy New Year, Carrie!

Wow, snow! I'm so jealous! Your Panta looks great, too.

Have fun. The Panta looks so cute on you.

Awwww Teamies! I miss youse guys.
I hope that you don't forget to come home to Georgia.

You guys look snow ready! Colorodo sounds so posh. Sounds like a place celebrities go!

I started talking to the Pants about me taking a little airplane trip myself this coming year...perhaps to Hotlanta....Hmmm?!?!

Have a great trip! Happy New Year!

Love that Panta! Just finished my first one the other day!

(everyone loves Panta!)
