I Can't Hear You
Oh. I feel like crap. My allergies and a little upper respiratory infection have finally knocked me on my butt. I'm still working today, but I'm just barely functioning...you know that feeling when you can't pop your ears? Yeah. Ew.
But, regardless of my current yuckiness, last night was knitting night and we had so much fun. We had a new girl join us for the first time, and here she is with Anne Marie:

Yay for new knitting friends! It was a fun time, and Sarah is making that gorgeous baby cable shawl-poncho from Weekend Knitting in a gorgeous purply color...Anne Marie modeled her newly finished Bottoms-Up Bucket:

It's so close to being done, just a few more rows, some finishing and a button. I'm so excited about it! I think it's going to be great for fall. Leslie worked on a doggy sweater for L'il Frankie...this is how much Frankie loves the yarn:
My mommy knits me things.
Can you even believe how cute that dog is? I have to pinch myself sometimes.
Anyways, we had a blast. And we knitted at my new place of part-time employment, Hot Corner Coffee! Yahoo! I just got hired yesterday to work on the weekends, and I think it's going to be a lot less stressful than waiting tables at Molly's. Thank God. So, if you're in the area, come! Have a cup o' joe! Sit a while!
That is, if I can drag my sorry sick ass in tomorrow morning. I have so much more to tell you but no energy to type or look at a computer screen anymore. I'm going home to pass out. Have a great weekend, and I hope you get to knit a lot.

I was thinking that if you put your yarn in a backpack and fashion some kind of needle holster for your belt loop...you could knit at Hot Corner between customers. I hope the first day was fun, despite that it was at 7:00 am! Little Frankie is so photogenic, as is your boob holder. Feel better!

Hey Carrie!! My gosh, that dog (lil Farnkie) is da cutest! I just got a new dog myself (a border terrier) which my family found in the bushes all covered in ticks and we had him scanned to see if he was anyone's, but no. So yay!! Hooray for dogs!! I wish I had a coffee job *just can't get enough!*
