Happy Fun Times
Yay! What a great weekend!
So relaxing. I got SO much knitting done, that I just have to show ya. (click to enlarge!):
The Chevron Tank is nearly finished! And I did seam it last night ... ugh ... I HATE seaming, and I'm so bad at it, and I'm really trying to get better, but UGH. I seamed while watching The Matrix Revolutions on DVD (another ugh for that movie...painful.) And click here to see what happens when I try to take a picture of myself in the mirror at 1:00 AM. Oops. So, I promise a clear picture of the finished tank this week. Yay! It's looking good, and Cotton Fleece is so shiny and pretty when it's knitted up. Yum.
And here are some family photos, since it was Easter this weekend and everything.
My sis Michelle, my mom and my bro-in-law Dave | my little step-nephew Mason | a kinda dorky pic of me and Jacob |
We ate ham and hung out. It was good times.
Next on the knitting front is the Dale of Norway tank, and possibly T3 from the new Knitty. But first I gotta finish seaming this Chevron tank... I think I need to take a class on how to finish things correctly. Grr.
Happy Monday ya'll!!
P.S. I CANNOT find my tax returns. Argh.

WOW, the chevron looks so cool. You better post a little less blurry picture of yourself in it so we can all ooooh and aaaah...Is that the free pattern from the IWK website?

That chevron tank looks gorgeous. Isn't Cotton Fleece lovely? It's now one of my fave yarns.
Thanks for sharing your family photos. What happy, smiling people. And that baby is cuuuuuuuuuuuuute!

I love the way the tank is shaping up, and it's a gorgeous color! Can't wait to see it finished.

Your tank looks great. I also watched the Matrix Revolution. You're right. It was painful. I thought it would never end.

I'm so glad you made that tank and I can't wait to see you in it! I've had the pattern printed for a while and can't decide if I'm hip enough to wear it.
P.S. Excellent color choice! Good luck with taxes. Blech.

I want to do that top too! But I got too many other things in the queue right now.
Yours looks fabulous!

Oh Carrie! I LOVE it! I ordered my organic cotton to make mine the other day. It's at the back of a long list (I have the yarn for the other projects), but I am definitely looking forward to it. You finished so fast - you must have knit non-stop, you little stitch gunner.
Can't wait to see seamed and on!

Ummm...your tax returns or your tax forms? :-) Hope you find them! I'm in the same boat as you when it comes to having difficulty seaming. I'm going to make an effort to get better. Usually, I just fly through it because I want to be finished!
